ANI UPDATES: April 30, 2020

As you all know we recently launched #BeAwesomeFeedSomebody, a special "pop-up" restaurant featuring delicious deep-dish style pizza "Rock City and Co" and the most incredible Thai Chicken "Bang Bang Chicken." These two pop-ups are supporting two initiatives: 1) charities assisting in stemming the blow of COVID-19 and 2) displaced restaurant industry employees impacted by this unprecedented crisis.
We have a goal of 100,000 meals to be donated to these initiatives but we need your help! We just launched a kickstarter campaign that will help raise funds to buy the necessary equipment, tools and compensation for staff in order to launch more locations. There are some really fun incentives as a thank you for your support such as fun swag, pizza making classes, even a pie named after you!!
So go to this link to pledge and don't forget to follow and order from @beawesomefeeds. Thank you so much!!

Today, at our Jersey City location, we launched #BeAwesomeFeedSomebody. We are so incredibly excited about our conceptualized temporary, nonprofit pop-ups that will not only provide guests with delicious pizza and Thai rotisserie chicken, but also a way to give back: thus, “Rock City Pizza Co.” and “Bang Chicken”. These temporary concepts will offer guests take-out/delivery at a lower than normal price point, along with the opportunity to do something for those in need. When they purchase their own meal, guests will be encouraged to add a little extra to their tab to cover a donated meal. For more information please visit www.beawesomefeedsomebody.org or follow @beawesomefeeds.

In partnership with Mark Bustos, founder of #beawesometosombody, a 501c charitable foundation, the Montclair Hospitality Group, owners of Ani Ramen, are launching two not-for-profit delivery-centric restaurant brands that will directly support first responders and victims of the COVID-19. Our goal is to donate 100,000 meals to first responders by June 2020.

Don't worry ramen lovers! Ani Ramen will still be re-opening in our same locations as soon as we can! In the meantime, our locations will be the home of our new initiative; Rock City Pizza Co. a non-profit restaurant serving Detriot Pizza and Bang Bang Chicken serving Thai-spiced rotisserie chicken for takeout. All Ani Ramen gift cards can be used at Ani Ramen only once we re-open and they don't expire!

Dear Ramen Lovers,

We want to let you know that we take your health and safety seriously. We are a community gathering place, and we believe that food and drink with family and friends defines our quality of life. For this reason, we have made the extremely difficult decision to close our Ani Ramen locations as of Monday, March 16th due to the current COVID-19 situation. We care deeply for our team, our families, and our guests, and it is with everyone’s safety and well-being in mind, that we have come to this conclusion.

Real time status updates, detail of our outreach efforts, and more can be found on our social media pages @aniramenThank you for your understanding and loyalty during this challenging time. We hope to see you all very soon! Stay posted to our Updates page.
